C.1.34 Element foreign

C.1.34.1 Description

This element indicates that the words it encloses are in a foreign language. For example, you might write <foreign>et al.</foreign>. This is different from putting them in an em element; whereas emphasises words might be shown as such by being put in bold rather than italicised, foreign words should always be italicised.
