I obtained my BSc in Physics from Imperial College London and MSc in Space Science and Engineering from University College London (UCL), before completing my PhD in Solar Physics at UCL’s Mullard Space Science Laboratory. Following my PhD, I held postdoctoral positions at USRA, based at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center, and at the INAF Rome Observatory.

In October 2026, I joined the University of Glasgow’s Astronomy and Astrophysics Group as a Leverhulme Trust Early Career Fellow.

My research focuses on energy transport and plasma composition variations in solar flares. I use observations of solar flares, particularly extreme-ultraviolet (EUV) spectroscopic observations from the EIS instrument aboard the Hinode satellite, to investigate the physical properties and evolution of solar flare plasmas. During my fellowship, I will investigate the mechanisms driving changes in plasma composition during solar flares, combining observational analysis with state-of-the-art numerical modelling.
