4.7 Figures

Includes figure, caption and figurecontent.

You may include images and other figures within your document using the figure element. A figure consists of a caption, optionally followed by a sequence of figurecontent elements, optionally followed by a single block of px elements. You provide a figurecontent element for each alternative figure format you provide. The processing system selects a usable format from those available; not all processors can use all formats, so that it would be desirable to provide an image in both EPS and GIF format, if you can.

You can provide paragraphs of text (perhaps containing a verbatim element) as figure content.
