Electronic Texts

:The Oxford Text Archive
Have they replaced this with a :new home page?).
*Project Gutenberg
which maintains a list of pointers to *similar initiatives (*faster mirror).
Specifically *philosophical etexts
mentioned on the *Philosophy on the Web page.
*Open eBook
`The purpose of the Open eBook Forum (OEBF) is to create and maintain standards and promote the successful adoption of electronic books.'. There are supposedly some bibliography elements in here, but I haven't found them. There's also *BiblioML, which is a specialised DTD for bibliographic markup, but rather more elaborate than I think I need.
*OpenContent.org
A version of the GPL for texts
*lightandmatter.com
Open content physics and astronomy books.
Similarly, *Samizdat Press
``...is devoted to the free distribution of books, lecture notes and software''.
