The URL you followed points to one of a number of pages of bookmarks that I maintained for a while, partly for my own covenience, partly for the benefit of others. Times change, and I haven't been maintaining these links for a while; that means that the collection of links and syntheses is becoming increasingly old, with links breaking and comments becoming rapidly out of date.
So the link collection has been retired, is unadvertised, and you're here, presumably, only because you followed a link in Google or in someone else's link collection (shame on them, for being so dilatory in their maintainance!).
But I'm old-fashioned enough to believe in the old slogan Cool URIs don't change (a URI that hasn't changed since 1998, even if approbatory `cool' is now hopelessly dated), so the link you followed still works, but comes here.
If you're still interested, then the old tree is still available. But don't link to it, eh? If by some good chance you find something there still valuable, then do let me know, and I can put it somewhere indexable.
