These pages are now out-of-date Bookmarks / Distance Education and Learning Technology (old) / Journals, mailing lists and other publications |
deosnews
and
deos-l
, available from
listserv@psuvm.psu.edu, and
deos-r
available from
listserv@cmuvm.csv.cmich.edu
(send a one-line message
`subscribe listname your-firstname your-surname
' to
the appropriate address). Deosnews is an occasional
newsletter, deos-lis a general discussion forum, and
deos-r
is for the discussion of, specifically, distance-education
research. There is a gopher archive of previous issues of
alt.education.distance
and
misc.education.adult
which cover this field, and which have been known to be useful.
I have a short (but growing) bibliography of Distance Education publications of
various types.
Also, Dundee have produced a short guide on
Preparing to study by distance learning, which I haven't seen, but
which sounds interesting.
