The cartoon

This cartoon aims to distinguish "external reconnection" from "internal reconnection", a dermatological refinement on a physical process not well understood even without modifiers; the Archivist would lump this disinction in with the equally vapid "interchange reconnection" on the same grounds. The cartoon itself is not particularly novel, but has nice colors and does illustrate the Antiochos breakout model. The reliance upon 2D cartoons mysteriously has continued with the authors' breakthrough (not breakout) identification of jets with minifilament eruptions.
