This cartoon has survived to the second edition of the author's article in
the Living Reviews series, and so it may seem justified that
it be called a "Standard Model".
The main merit here is the nice color
scheme, but it's worth a comment.
"Standard model" to an X-ray or radio
astronomer has to do with energy transport in a flaring loop, nominally
but not probably via an electron beam.
To the optical and UV astromers,
and their theoretical minions, "standard model" has to do with
MHD and CSHKP.
This Archive contains several much
more elaborate versions.
