ECHOMOP can be used process IUE data presented in the form of a SIHI file. These files contain HIRES spectra which have been photometrically corrected, rotated and de-splayed.
Some algorithmic optimisations are available specifically for IUE data. These are activated by using the hidden parameter TUNE_IUE.
This parameter should be supplied on the command line thus:
ECH_TRACE TUNE_IUE=1
Currently only TUNE_IUE=1 is supported, but other values may be provided in the future to optimise the extraction algorithm depending upon the object type.
