It will normally be possible to do a completely automatic arc line calibration by setting AUTO_ID=YES. Resulting identifications can be inspected interactively afterwards. For an automatic run much CPU time can be saved by providing good estimates for the range of allowable wavelength and dispersion parameters. However, these values should generally have a reasonable margin of error built in (20% is a sensible amount).
