A tour around Scotland, Summer 2005

For some it was like an eagerly awaited homecoming, for others the discovery of yet another beautiful country. During 2 weeks we drove ( on the left side of the road, of course ), from Edinburgh over Inverness to Durness and back along the west-coast, Loch Lomond and Stirling. Here is a best-off from the tons of pictures we took.

Beach and Coast of Stonehaven

Dunnotar Castle

Angi on the battlefield of Culloden

Urquhart Castle at Loch Ness

Hogwarts - we found it!

Lights in the Highlands

Durness

Sandwood Bay - Scotlands most beautiful beach

Our new tent - Lallybroch - as it is as stable as a scottish castle

Ullapool

A lonely highland valley called Strat na Sealga

They exist - and they work.

On the road
