Astronomy 2: Session 2000-2001
LABORATORY SESSIONS
Astronomy laboratory sessions begin
at 2.30pm
on Friday October 27th 2000,
at the University Observatory,
Garscube Road.
At least for the first session, students should make their own way to the Observatory. (If possible, the hire of a University SRC minibus may be arranged for subsequent weeks - check the noticeboards and website for any news updates about this).
If you require directions to the Observatory, click here, or consult the map outside Room 608 (Secretary's Office) on the 6th floor of the Kelvin Building.
REMEMBER TO BRING WITH YOU TO THE OBSERVATORY YOUR COPY OF THE A2 COURSE GUIDE AND LABORATORY MANUAL, AS THIS CONTAINS IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT THE LABS.
Labs are carried out in pairs, so the first task we have to complete at the first lab session is to assign students into lab pairs. It would, therefore, be useful to give some thought before Friday 27th as to who you would like to be your lab partner.
