Testing a new solar flare scenario - Multiwavelength Correlative Studies
I am proposing a new solar flare scenario based on high-beta plasma disruptions (Shibasaki, ApJ 557, 326). This series of workshops is the best occasion to test this scenario by data analysis. Multiwavelength Correlative Studies are essential for this purpose. Detailed studies of a limited number of well observed events by many instruments (RHESSI, TRACE, SOHO, NoRH) such as the event on April 21, 2002 are necessary.
