Planned Modernization of the Ondrejov Solar Radio Spectrograph
K Jiricka
The Ondrejov solar radio spectrograph has been observing solar flare emissions in the frequency band 0.8-4.5 GHz with 0.1 s time resolution for over a decade. In this period, more then 1000 solar radio events were observed and archived and the data exploited in many scientific publications. But to see fine features in the spectra, needed for the study of energy release and particle acceleration in solar flares, better time resolution and dynamics are required.
In the poster the planned modernization of the Ondrejov solar radio spectrograph, which will increase the time resolution and dynamics of the instrument by an order, is presented.
