A somewhat ponderous but otherwise clear cartoon describing jet action, supporting an analysis in the 1D radiation hydrodynamics tradition. The basic geometry is that of the Heyvaerts cartoon. Actually this paper does not do radiation in any serious way, and so it may be that one is not getting a very clear picture from the actual results - but the cartoon soldiers on.
