A severely utilitarian cartoon, in grim black and white, specifically
describing the flare SOL2000-03-01, a C-class flare well observed in
hard X-rays and microwaves.
Though drawn for this specific event, it nicely illustrates the
connectivity of the field and its current sheet, as envisioned
in the well-beloved CSHKP.
Here "light bridge" refers in the usual sense to the sunspot structure.
This excellent paper, among the first to make use of "frequency-agile"
microwave imaging spectroscopy, also invokes the
thick-target that forms the other pillar (with CSHKP) still
common two decades later.
