The CSHKP representation in the 2002 review by
the theoretical masters of this genre.
In American architectural terms, it is kind of a cross between
the Gateway Arch in St. Louis and the Denver Interntional Airport,
This serves to emphasize the geometrical distinction between the
inherently 3D flux-rope structure of the ejection, and the closely 2D
structure of the loop arcade.
The 2D form of this process had already been well-recognized as early
as 1971 by Strauss & Papagiannis
among others.
See the Gosling for a decade-later
elucidation of how this mapping might work, the
Forbes-Malherbe cartoon
for a decades-earlier consideration of the physics via numerical
simulations.
