To the Archivist's eye, this cartoon representation of the CSHKP geometry has the greatest truthiness to be found in these pages. Why? It is because it displays an unabashedly electrodynamic viewpoint, complete with some well-known physics not present in the average CSHKP effort. This includes field-aligned currents,, cross-field Pederson conductivity to close them, and double layers. These phenomena all play important roles in the terrestrial aurora and so why not?
