To the Archivist's eye, this cartoon representation of the
CSHKP geometry has the greatest truthiness to be found
in these pages. Why?
It is because it displays an unabashedly electrodynamic viewpoint, complete
with some well-known physics not present in the average CSHKP effort.
This includes
field-aligned currents,,
cross-field Pederson conductivity to close them, and
double layers.
These phenomena all play important roles in the terrestrial
aurora and so why not?
