The cartoon

This is a hyper-cartoon, making colorful and attractive a much more scholarly cartoon in the original paper. Here the authors believe that they have recognized a conical flux tube in the high-latitude solar wind, as observed by Ulysses. It would be bounded by a current sheet that they speculate has its roots in a Fisk-Parker configuration. The concentric but opposite twists suggest a gigantic kinetic Alfvén wave?
