The abundances of chemical elements in various kinds of solar ejecta (SEPs. in this case) provide handle on understanding the structures that emit them. Here the authors employ both "component reconnection" and "interchange reconnection", which the Archivist suspects are physically the same thing, but here identify the geometries perhaps involved in observations of AR 11150 (late January 2011), which revealed significant FIP bias.
