How a young stellar object might drive an accretion flow into the star, producing a flare. An unrestricted free-fall stream might arrive with 300-500 km/s velocity, resulting in a termination shock. Would this be analogous to our solar thick-target model, perhaps? Or, it may more nearly resemble a Hyder flare.
