Welcome
Welcome to the Astronomy and Astrophysics Group homepage. The group is part of the SUPA School of Physics & Astronomy, in the University of Glasgow.

We conduct research in a wide range of topics, including solar and plasma physics, cosmology and radio astronomy. We offer undergraduate and postgraduate taught courses as part of the School of Physics & Astronomy, as well as supervising PhD projects. During term we have weekly seminars from external visitors and groups members.
We are located in the Kelvin Building on the main University of Glasgow campus but also occupy two observatories: ‘Acre Road’ and ‘Cochno’ on the Kilpatrick Hills.
