I am a Postdosctoral Research Assistant in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Glasgow, working on the physics of solar flares, the analysis of Yohkoh data and the inversion of hard X-ray bremsstrahlung spectra. Previously, I have worked in a number of areas of astrophysics, including cosmology, general relativity and plasma physics.
Teaching
I teach the undergraduate Stellar Physics II course.
Personal Information
I am married, and am currently expecting my first child. Those with a fondness for baby pictures may like to check out my shrine to ultrasound.
