Applicants with only a few years' research experience should include with their application a letter of recommendation from a senior scientist active in the research fields relevant to the Summer School.
 

Cost of Participation.

The fee for full board and accommodation per participant (sharing a room for 11 nights, i.e. the duration of the NATO ASI) will be  690 GBP. This includes breakfast, lunch, dinner, and a copy of the proceedings.

There is no conference fee, but a deposit of 100 GBP (non-refundable in the event of late cancellation) will be required from participants upon their acceptance to reserve their accommodation.

Funding support will be available for participants who find it difficult to obtain the necessary finance for travel and subsistence. (Funded participants are expected to attend for the full duration of the summer school).

A case for financial support should accompany the application.
