I'm working on Soft X-rays with RHESSI, fitting thermal and multithermal models to the low energy channels for flares, Here's my Cospar abstract, which is as descriptive as it gets, since i only did my first non-automated spectrum on Monday:
"We present results from soft X-ray spectroscopy using RHESSI. Both thermal-nonthermal models will be considered, as well as multithermal models. Examples of both large and small flares will be used. Using the excellent spectral resolution of the RHESSI detectors we hope to answer the following questions: 1) Can we distinguish between thermal and nonthermal emission using only the spectral shape, without considering spatial variations? 2) Can we recover a meaningful differential emission measure for high temperature flare emission using only RHESSI data?"
