Celebrating 40 years of the thick-target model

The 11th general RHESSI workshop will be hosted by the Astronomy & Astrophysics Group of the University of Glasgow in the Kelvin Building during the week 4-8 April 2011. Founded in 1451, the University of Glasgow is the fourth oldest university in the English-speaking world.

This workshop will continue the format of previous in the series but it also marks 40 years since the publication Prof. John Brown's thick-target model paper which has since been the standard approach to interpret solar flare hard X-ray spectra.

Update: The group photo from the meeting is now online as well as the second version.

Update: The solution to Gordon Emslie's Thick-Target quiz is now online.
