Brief description
The solar wind can severely disrupt the Earth's magnetosphere,
introducing variations in the Earth's magnetic field of up to about
1000 nT (about 2 percent). Several designs for simple magnetometers
exist, and this project involves the development, construction and
calibration of such a device for the Observatory.
Your demonstrator will discuss the circuit design with you before
starting this project.
