An all-time classic treatment of the CSHKP theme, judging by
citation count of this paper (more than 600!).
The Archivist was a co-author of this paper, which helps to account for its
muddled prose, but not a co-artist of the cartoon.
Is there anything novel in this?
Moore himself has spent a lifetime refining these ideas, perhaps as introduced
earliest and most completely by
Hirayama.
Note that this paper was about the explosion, but almost simultaneously
the Archivist was writing about the
implosion!
